Nice to meet you, I'm Sonia
Sonia is a boutique studio for fashion design and styling, established by me, Sonia Berkovitch. My studio is located in a small community on the hills of the Western Galilee, surrounded by beautiful nature and facing the Mediterranean Sea. In the studio, I envision, design, and produce the various collections of my clothes. The clothes are all handmade, using the highest quality of materials and workmanship. Every piece is created with great attention to comfort, in a clean, contemporary style.
My journey in fashion design began when I was a child, back in my family home in Riga, Latvia. There, my mother's family traded textiles, and I was enchanted by the endless variety of colors, textures and shapes. This early connection with fabrics naturally paved my way into fashion and was a significant milestone in my development as a designer.

From raw fabric to finished piece — every step is done in the studio, by my own hands.
My approach
My clothes are influenced first and foremost by the people in my everyday life — women and men, for whom I design. I developed a unique style, creatively letting go of strict rules for cuts and choice of fabrics.
I believe the right clothing choice greatly enhances a person's radiance. You simply know when you wear the right piece — and it makes you feel good.
